Google Testing (Another) UI Tweak

Performing a search on for web hosting sometimes triggers off a “Searches related to:” box to appear at the bottom of the Google search.

I guess they have put this at the bottom in case you haven’t found what you are looking for - yet another reason not to go to page 2? (Sorry to those ranked >10th!). This might be a test to try and push people to use slightly more advanced search queries, to squeeze the best out of Google.

Advanced search terms and new Google UI testing is something we have blogged about before. We’ve found that Google seems to do a lot of these UI tests but very, very few actually survive the testing phase and make it to live.
