If you do not want to be automatically upgraded to IE7, you need to turn off automatic updates or download and run the tool to block automatic delivery of IE 7.

Thanks John, good tip! I’ve installed IE7, and I have to say that I quite like the tabbing support, and the Quick Tabs feature looks neat - even though I’m not sure I’ll actually use it.

What I did notice however, is how slow it is at rendering pages. Noticeably worse than FF2.0 beta, and possibly even slower than IE6.

The good news is that all of our client sites we’ve tested so far work 100% fine with IE7 - which is great for our programming department who were fearful of late nights fixing some of our older sites!
